I ordered a "Terra Bronze" color garage door on 6/8/18 and paid $1,000 as deposit. Overhead Door Company of Kansas City delivered and installed a "dark gray" color garage door on 7/27/18. I complained to their sale representative, Zach Martin, twice via email and text on the same day about the wrong color and asked them to fit it. Zach replied on 7/31/18 and said there is nothing they can do because the color swatch on their catalog is just for reference and actual product's color may be different. I then found out that they already charged my credit card for the balance amount of $1,072, even though I told them I can't accept the color. I have filed a dispute to my credit card company on the $1,072 transaction because they didn't delivered the right product.
Resolution: My company wrote Mr. a check for $400 so that he could pay his GC to paint the doors.

After recently moving to a different residence, I scheduled preventative maintenance for my garage door and opener through OHDKC because I had had positive experiences with this company at my former house.
However, I was very disappointed with this most recent experience. The technician literally sat in his truck for 20-25 minutes before coming back in and telling me he was “finished” and charging me $99.95! He never once even operated the door to observe it working.
I do believe that this technician was not aware that I was observing him. I had explained what I needed done and then gone back into the house, leaving the connecting door ajar so he could call me if needed. When I went back out to ask him a question about 5 minutes later, I saw him sitting in his truck so I lingered in the garage sweeping and rearranging shelves for about 15 minutes waiting for him to return, which he never did. I then returned to the house to answer my ringing telephone.
No more than 10 minutes later the technician came in stating that he was “finished” with the work. Not only was there not time in that 10 minutes for him to actually do anything, as I said, he did not once operate the door to observe it working. The only time it was operated was when I opened it to let him in and closed it again after he left!
As a 75 year old woman, I was not going to argue with a healthy young man over the charges, but I do believe my $99.95 should be refunded because no service was rendered.
I have spoken to our customer and she has indicated to me that she is satisfied with how we have resolved the issue and it is our understanding that no further action needs to be taken on our end.

I was contacted on the phone by the company, and they did follow through with the resolution that they had promised during that call. Since I had previously had better experiences than this one with this company, I would consider doing business with them again.

We requested a 12 point inspection of our garage overhead doors. The inspector came out and inspected the overhead doors. Afterwards, he told by boyfriend everything was in working order, except the motor of one of the door openers. We had already arranged to have that opener replaced, so it was not a concern. However, that weekend while the opener was being replaced, it was noted that the good overhead door and opener were pulling away from the garage wall by a good 1 1/2 inches. Apparently missed in the inspection. I have phoned and emailed with pictures attached, to no avail.
We are in receipt of the above referenced customer complaint from *** Drive, Lake Winnebago, MO 64034. Our customer (consumer) of record at this address is named Don Pierce. I reached out to Mr. Pierce on 10/16 to discuss and he indicated that we have resolved this matter to his satisfaction. At the time that I called him, I was not yet aware that a Revdex.com complaint had been filed on his behalf.
We consider this matter closed, but if you have information to the contrary we would be eager to address any additional questions or concerns.
