This is reference to the negative complaint I just filed on this company Overhead did finally call me back and agreed to amend invoice to show one spring and not two, which was the problem That is more than fair Thank-you
I live about miles outside of Pueblo., They promptly responded to my request for quote at no cost The workmanship of the installation was excelentThey identified an additional problem and repaired it without undue charges or fees All of their work was perfromed while I was away at workTheir commication was excelent, but not excessive or annoying Excelent service was provided at a competetive cost I originaly located this business through the Revdex.com

My house was built in 1979, and the garage door opener is a dinosaur, so when it started acting up, I was sure that I would have to have it replaced Nonetheless, I took the remote (which was crumbling in my hands) to Overhead Door Company of Colorado Springs The gentlemen with whom I dealt tested the remote and, finding no problem with it, suggested that the problem was in the transponder They gave me another transponder, asked me to try it, then bring back the defective one, if this one solved my problem Problem solved! And, they replaced my disintegrating remote with one in better shape! But, a year later, I was having problems again I returned with the transponder, but their testing revealed no problems They asked to test the remote and found it to be the problem, so they fixed it! I know that one day I will have to have a new garage door opener, and I will definitely go to Overhead Door Company of Colorado Springs!
I am quick to complain, so when I am given quality service, I am also quick to praiseIn this case I had my double car garage door replaced by Overhead DoorFrom the beginning as the service team introduced themselves, I was taken by their attitudeThe installation was completed as agreed and the results were top gradeThe attitude of the professionals outstanding and the product top grade, but after installation I was given good advice on how to perform periodic lubrication to extend the life of my doorIf I ran a service company, these are the type of people I would want to represent me
I had an Overhead Door employee (Steve) come out to do an estimateHe took measurements and pictures but could not give me an estimate on the spotsaid he had to talk to a manager (Tony)SIX weeks later, I called them back about the estimate...having heard nothing in the six weeksThe measurements were lost and they wanted to come back out and re-measureI said no and went with a local, family owned door businessTHIS IS NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE
