We took our *** to Overdrive because the engine light and the VSC light were on and there was a shaking in the front wheel. It was diagnosed as a bad front abs sensor. We made the appointment to have it fixed and the part was misprdered, so we rescheduled. We took the vehicle in for repair and we were quoted a price of $270. When we picked up the car, we drove it less than a mile to our home and all of the lights came on and the wheel was still shaking. We took it back and left it for an hour. We were told they had no idea what the issue was, but it was on to drive and may have been dirt in the sensor. The problem persisted. We took the car to another mechanic who said it was an ignition coil ($30). We o formed Overdrive that they didn’t accuratelt diagnose the issue, nor did they take the time to find the cause when we took it back. They didn’t believe that the ignition coil was the cause and actually called the Toyota dealership with us standing there to verify. Once it was indeed verified, we were told that Overdeive had no idea. As a result, we request d a refund being that our vehicle was the same when we drove it out as it was when we drove it in, despite spending $270. He finally agreed to refund labor costs, however he said it was 1 hr of work so it was $70 refund. The part list for $47. I asked for a receipt for the part which he wouldn’t provide. He said we had to pay to overnight the part even though it wasn’t there and we had to wait. Then he blocked me from
Messaging and said I could go to small claims court.
