no one will take item back
Bought a skillet from Walmart and it arrived broken. Walmart referred me on to Ovente. They won't take the skillet back without first sending them a video. That is absurd! I just want to return the skillet for a refund.
send a return label so I can return the skillet for a full refund
I received a full refund so case can be closed
The company has refused to honor their vacuum warranty for an item purchase 3/2/17.
Purchased vacuum via Walmart with extended warranty. Walmart referred me to Ovente since item should still be under manufacturer warranty. Ovente opened Case # *** & I supplied all requested information plus picture of issue with canister. This was sent 6/11/17. I cannot get them to respond.

To Whom It May Concern:
Please consider this as our response to Revdex.com Case # XXXXXX filed by Mr. *** against Ovente.
In contrary to the claim of Mr. ***, we wish to inform you that we responded to him. He also mentioned that we did not honor his warranty claim. Please be informed that it is not that we did not honor the warranty. The issue of the canister cannot be covered by warranty as it got broken not because the item has poor quality but because of misuse or mishandling on the part of the customer.
Just to give you a brief background, on 03 July 2017, the customer sent us a message via Walmart. We responded on the same day and informed him that his replacement request for his vacuum canister cannot be covered by warranty based on the picture that he sent.
As a courtesy, we initially offered a replacement canister for $20.00, which already includes shipping and handling. Unfortunately, we have not heard back from him.
Then on 09 July 2017, he sent us an e-mail at @ovente.com saying that he has not received any reply. In response, the following day, 10 July 2017, we gave the same replacement option that we offered the first time. Again, we have not received his reply and we just learned that he already filed this Revdex.com case that we are representing right now.
To resolve the issue, our Management has decided to send him a free replacement for the broken canister. He was already informed about it and the replacement was already shipped yesterday, 19 July 2017.
For you reference, we have attached the following items;
Copy of our e-mail correspondences;
Printscreen of the shipping order from our system - Shipstation;
Printscreen of the tracking information - USPS Tracking # ***;
Since we have already rendered the desired resolution of the customer, we kindly request that this complaint case be closed. Additionally, we would also request that this case be kept confidential and not publicized.

I appreciate the resolution by this business but wish I had not had such an issue with getting a response to my issue. I'd ask that this issue be listed with Revdex.com but marked as resolved.
