The table lamp I received is useless. To put it together you 1st have to unscrew the finial from the harp. This won't unscrew. 5 family member tried.
First, they do not offer 2 day free shipping on all orders as they advertise on TV. But, that didn't bother me. I still places my first and last order with them. I bought a loveseat *** and a table lamp *** I order the lamp to get the free shipping that you only get after spending *** again not as advertised.
I just unpacked the lamp and it has 4 parts (base, harp, shade and finial). Harp and finial come screw together. The finial is ceramic, while the harp is metal. It is impossible to unscrew these two parts. And you have to do that in order to be able to assemble the lamp because between harp and finial you have to put the shade.
I called the customer service to try to get a replace part and the first representative hang up on me, very rude. All he offered was try to guide me on how to unscrew it. I told him that I know how to unscrew two things that are screw together, this will simply not come off.
I called again and a nice lady answered. I explained the whole situation again and she offered to go to a store to have someone look at it and try to unscrew it for me. First, I don't want to go to the store during this pandemic. Second, they are way too far. And I don't think that I should be bothered with that when it's them that have to resolve the issue. Then she said that they do not do replacements or exchanges. The only option she gave me was to try to go through the manufacturer for the warranty. But you should go to the manufacturer to pursue a warranty if it's been a while since you have the product and you have an issue but I just bought it from Living Spaces, they should take responsibility for it, like any other business does.
All I have as of now is a useless disassembled lamp and all I wanted was to get a replacement part sent to me and at the same time they could pick up the parts that are useless. So what do I do? I spent *** and I have a lamp that I cannot use and they are not giving me any solutions. They asked me to send the warranty a photo. How could you see from a photo that 2 parts are not coming apart? I also uploaded that photo here so at least you could understand what I'm talking about and perhaps you could also see that the parts are pretty rusted, which may explain why they will not come off.
All I'm asking for is for the store to send me to my address a new lamp that I can actually use and I will give the one I have back to them at the same time. Or I can also accept just the 2 parts replaced. If they wish to send someone to assemble it for me, I'm good with that. And lastly if none of these options work for them, just pick it up (I'm not going out of my house for this) and give me a full refund.
Back in January we purchased a love seat and a sofa from Living Spaces and it was delivered damaged.
Back in January we purchased a love seat and a sofa from Living Spaces and it was delivered damaged. So they send us a replacement which turned out to be damaged as well and they took it back and promised us a full refund. We never got our refund and every time we contact them they say that it should be processed soon but it never dose. In fact we got an email from them saying that our refund should of been processed. So we have it in writing to proof that they owe us a refund.
They need to refund us like they said they will on their email.
