Out of the Closet Estate Sales

I hired this company to sell my personal property in an estate sale. They have refused to give me a list of sold items or pay me as agreed.
My contract with the company stated dates for the sale ( ***), plus stipulated that within 21 days of the conclusion of the sale I would receive an itemized list of items sold and the selling prices. It further stated a check for the proceeds would be mailed to me.

The sale dates were changed without my consent or knowledge (***), I have received no summary report, nor have I received any money.

Just wrapping up a fantastic sale.OUT OF THE CLOSET worked overtime to get eavrything just right. Friendly helpful staff made it a delightful experience. I highly recommend this company for your sale.

Disorganized and dishonest - two characteristics you don't need when disposing of a loved ones things. Creative accounting gave them the bulk of the proceeds from the sale while the staff missed deadlines for the sale, advertising, and clean up. Do thorough research and get referrals. Out of the Closet staff are not trustworthy.

Out of the closet was great for providing contacts and working with you to clean out a house. However communication, timelines and transparency are not their strong suit. If you are looking to make money and low stress transaction on your estate sale these are not the folks for you.
