We did do brake work for Mr. [redacted], but we were limited in the scope we could go with the work because he wanted to keep it at $0. day and says "You guys almost killed me, you didn't do the work right." I asked him what happened and to have him bring the truck back and we will make it right. He said he already took it to another shop to have repaired. I asked him to have the other shop take pictures where the lines were broken and if it was verified it was something we did wrong, we would absolutely make it right. He also told me that we charged him $70 for towels, which is not the case. He came in the next day with a piece of old rusty break line. I asked him where the part came from, if it came from wheel to wheel and he said yes, but the day before he told me it came from front to back. I asked him if he got photos taken and he said he wasn't getting anything done for us. I told him with all do respect, I don't know that that piece of brake-line is from his truck because there is no ends on the brake line. He then got upset and I also brought up the $70 charge for towels and told him I could show him his invoice and he didn't want to listen or see it. He eventually started getting mad and went storming out the door. I asked him to have his mechanic call me, but that never happened. We tried everything we could to find out if it was something caused by our work, but there no way to substantiate it nor did he try to provide anything to us. We told him when he left here that the brakes had questionable pieces on there, but he said he couldn't afford anything else. I would have refunded him, but he didn't give us the opportunity to look at it or without any validation it was bad on our end.
