Online Trading Academy contacted me via email in February 2020 asking that I defend the organization / company in a dispute with the FTC by providing a positive message to the FTC about OTA's services. Instead, I responded to OTA that I had not had a positive experience. To which, two representatives from OTA contacted me by phone to discuss my concerns -- Steve Albin and Karen Trisko. Both stated that they wished to resolve the issue and make some offer in good faith to result in me feeling better about the experience I had had with their organization and ultimately they offered me a partial refund. I accepted and was sent on February 24, 2020 a Refund and Release Agreement. I signed and dated the agreement. In both the email that accompanied the agreement and the agreement itself, there was a statement that I would receive the refund within three days of execution. Once I returned the signed agreement, I never heard from either Steve Albin nor Karen Trisko again, despite many attempts on my part to reach them.
