*** *** called and ask what the labor would be to install a power steering pump on his Chevy Camaro, he was quoted $He said he would bring the pump, and at this point nothing was mentioned about the hoseHim bringing his own part was not unusual, we had previously did work for him
on several of his vehicles and he did bring his own parts sometimesHe brought the vehicle in later that morning but did not have the pump, he said he could only find a stock pump and he wanted a chrome pump to match the other chrome parts he had on the vehicle, I told him I was sure SO CAL would have one I told him I was on my way to SO CAL to pick up a part for another vehicle I was working on and I would check on a price for a chrome power steering pump while I was there and let him know, his exact words were "If they have one just pick it up while you are there it will save me a trip"I purchased the pump, my cost was $Not too long after I got back *** *** stopped by the shop to see how things were going, at this point I showed him the chrome pump and also showed him that one of the power steering lines had a whole in itI explained I could have a new line made and at this point I gave him his cost on the pump and lineI paid $for the pump and $for the line, I told him the parts would be $plus tax (which was me charging him $for the pump and $for the hose)At no point did I say I would give him the parts at cost, that is ridiculousHe made a comment about the chrome pump costing quite a bit more than a stock pump, but at that point gave us a verbal authorization to have a new line made and complete the workThe next day I called him, told him it was ready and he ask if I would pick him up, which I didHe paid his bill ( Total: $$parts, $labor, and $tax on parts)When he left he immediately started posting bad reviews on every social media site possible saying he was a service man and we had ripped him off and advising people to not do business with usHe never contacted us at all.Next *** *** started running fraudulent adds on *** *** for cars for sale putting our address and phone number on them, example: Chevy Corvette $or best offerThis caused us so much hassle, our phone ringing constantly and people coming to the shop to look at the cars for sale and then a lot of times angry at us because we did not have the car placed for saleThis went on continuously for about weeks until he posted his own number on the form as to who was running these ads, up until this point we had no proof it was himWe then contacted the ** *** *** *** to find out what we could do about this harassmentThey took all of the ads we had printed that he placed on *** *** and went to talk to himAs per the officer who contacted us after he talked to *** *** he was told to cease the harassment immediately and he was advised that I could file harassment charges on himThe ads stopped but he kept posting negative reviews on all social media sitesNext he filed a Small Claims Complaint against with the *** *** *** *** asking for a $refundI refuse to refund him any money, basically what he is asking for is the parts at my cost and to pay no labor

** *** had his transmission built in November He was given a local year OR 36,mile warrantyWhen he had a problem, in November 2017, he wanted me to pay to have it towed to the shop, I explained he would be responsible for the tow charge because the warranty had expiredThis is
when he became irrate and saying ridiculous things like we tampered with his mileage so we wouldn’t have to honor our warrantyBottom line regardless of mileage his warranty had expired by one year, obviously he doesn’t understand the word OR in his warranty

Customer has been called, we asked how we can resolved his problem and customer replied he would get back with us and has not

I have no idea why this shop continues to mislead and conduct poor business practice within the community. I will only address the facts; AI never authorized this shop to replace the line nor did I authorize this shop to go and charge me a ridiculous "ABSURD" amount to repair the power steering pumpJust because you have a business license does not grant you the right to rip off your PATRONs; The body of their reply and own admission to way over charging for parts and making warrant-less unsubstantiated claims is absurdI have phone number they should call it or show some sort of proof to any other claim they have as I submitted proof already to the Revdex.com which is the invoice which was never SIGNED BY ME EVER !!! NOR DID this repair shop call me up front and ask for permission to install anything at for crying out loud!!!The written response and excuse by this business is ridiculous, the only thing I told the man at the shop was to price out a chrome pump,,, the pump cost look at the invoice he charged 289.00? He only now states that he had to replace a line which on the invoice he charged yet now claims he spent ? the only thing by his own admission in his ridiculous response that is half way a truth is that I called the shop and asked how much the labor would be which is nobody on this planet would agree to a bill just to replace a power steering pump., His response well he PAId FOR IT AND LEFT IS INSULTING !!!! WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO DO WHEN YOUR BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF MY CAR WAS LOCKED IN THE COMPOUND AND HE LIED TO MY FACE AND TOLD ME THE PARTS WERE AT COST !Bottom line upfront is I submitted proof to the Revdex.com and I stand by this filed complaint!
