I contracted to have a new driveway and sidewalks installed at my residence. Completed work was very poor workmanship. Steps were not evenly spaced at the front door The treads are 10.5" on one side and 12" on one step and the other steps are uneven. They are out of New Castle County code. The flat work areas were not screeded properly leaving holes, dips and bumps where it should be flat or smooth. Flat work was also finished very poorly and rough with expansion joints protruding beyond the surface causing tripping hazard. Concrete splashed on the brick and aluminum surfaces of the house and left there to dry. The attached shed door cannot now be opened all the way. Caulking that was done is inferior in every way. It does not fit the seams that it was mean to fill. With rain, water sits in dips. Water is also penetrating into the shed area. Topsoil was not used to replenish the areas next to the driveway. As I tried to smooth it out, I found large chunks of old driveway concrete. No seeding was done in the landscape affected areas. The concrete walkway near the laundry room door does not slant away from the house and causes water to sit in the corner. The landscaping in front of my house is about 80% ruined.
