I bid on an item with a deceptive description. What arrived was a plastic replication of something that clearly appeared to be carved out of wood. The description item #XXXXXX "VINTAGE HAND OR HANGING POINTER" was not vintage at all, it's a plastic replica and I'm shocked and appalled to have been taken advantage of.
Product_Or_Service: Vintage Hand

Refund Orrill's Auction House needs to send me a "call tag" and have the item picked up at my home and refund my cc completely post haste.
I gave this company Antique china and several pieces of fine art to be consigned. They gave a date which they did not meet. Then they did not put a reserve on the art as requested by me. I was also told they needed time to reasearch my items for value. I provided the province on each piece. They did not put a reserve on anything and sold the art for $1.00 a piece they sold the *** set for $50. This is unbelievable as I was assured I was dealing with educated people. Also assured that a reserve would be placed on mybitems. None of this happen. I received $32.00 for the antique set. I will be contacting my attorney also I was assured I was dealing with experts and clearly they lied!!!!
Explanation of Charges I want all fees they have charged me return d to me. I also want an explanation of how and who did the reasearch all Nc with a reason why they did not do what I request on my art work. I want to no why they failed to put a reserve on my pieces. I also want the difference in fair market value attached to each piece of Art I submitted to this company. I was assured I was dealing with experts and clearly this was a lie!!
We made it very clear to her, prior to accepting her consignment, that the items she had were not valuable, that they had little value in todays market. Our contract, which she read and signed, states very clearly that we make no guarantees of price or value. She is lying when she states that we would put a reserve on her items as we told her very clearly, prior to our accepting her consignment, that we would not put reserves on what she was wanting to consign. We had told her that she should try and sell her items privately since they could sell for very little at auction. She said that she had already tried through the ***. We have since found out that she had them for sale online, and that she had her own retail outlet. Our contract, which she read and signed also states that time of sale is not guaranteed.
We had multiple conversations with her, prior to most of her items selling, that she could come pick up the remaining items. She indicated that it was too far away for her to do so and that we should just sell those items. Her complaint, at best, misrepresents reality; which makes it unlikely to be resolved. It is our belief that this customer, who is also a dealer, is utilizing your company to try and intimidate us.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
What they are claiming is false Sadly I knew they would lie in this matter I continue to want all fees returned to me I will not let this go, they need to be held accountable for their actions and deceitful business practices. I am NOT sastified at all, if they do not comply I will go to the media !!!
