I was told by the salesman and finance manager to put $1000 down to be able to secure this deal from the bank on financing this vehicle on 2/29/2020.
I paid $1000 down for Orr Nissan South to secure this deal on 2/29/2020 I was under impression that everything was finalized with this purchase of 2020 Nissan Sentra. This deal supposedly had been financed with Regional Acceptance. I called them at all branches to find my account and no one from either branch knew anything about this vehicle. I never received a call from Orr Nissan South about this vehicle while I'm thinking it's my vehicle. I called them on 3/30/2020 and ask them why haven't I received any billed or welcome call from Regional Acceptance, and I was told that we still trying to find you a loan that would approve you. So now this car is still own by Orr Nissan South and no approval from any banks to even consider me at the time. So now I have wasted time with them having me thinking I have a new 2020 Nissan Sentra and they couldn't even be honest with me on 2/29/2020 to let me know that this loan was denied. So I returned the car back to them on 3/31/2020 since I didn't never own it on their behalf of not closing the deal. I told them that I needed my $1000 back since the deal never got completed and it was never sold to me. I spoke with the floor manager first and he tells me that we can't refund you due to the mileage and stock fee. So I explain to him what stock fee are you referring to that rule doesn't imply to me because I never own the vehicle. It was still in Orr Nissan possession of who own the vehicle not me. No banks or loan company even accepted the deal. So then he tells me well I need to get with my General Manager can you give me your number so I can call you back. Today is 4/2/2020 I haven't received any call back from the floor manager or general manager about my $1000. I called back again @ 1:15 pm 4/2/2020 to speak with the general manager and the whole staff is covering for her saying she's on a conference call or meeting. I'm not understanding why they avoiding me about their error but I definitely shouldn't be penalized about receiving my $1000 back on a vehicle that I never own. I would never recommend no one to go here to buy anything. Customer service on getting things resolved is poorly including upper management. The whole organization needs to be audit and reviewed. Thumbs down never again will I put trust in a salesman or finance manager.

Desired Outcome

Refund and audit for the whole organization there. I am very disappointed and upset with them on handling situations like this.

I did receive my $1000 back to my card.

I was pressured into purchasing a Breakdown Service Contract and "Gap" insurance. I cancelled it and have not received a refund.
I purchased a new car on 10/30/2019. I was pressured to purchase a Breakdown Service Contract and "Gap" insurance. I went to the dealer on Nov 6, 2019 to cancel both. I was told there would be a charge of $150 to cancel. Nothing in the contract says that. It does say, in the service contact that there could be a $50 fee to cancel. I was told by their employee xxxxx that it would take 6 to 8 weeks to received a refund and the refund would go to the dealer who would send the refund to the finance company. They did not file the cancellation with the company until Nov 27. I sent Orr Nissan South a letter on Dec 12th complaining about not getting results of my cancellation. I never heard from them. I called xxxxx on or about the first of Jan 2020 and she promised to call the company that holds the contract. I called her again on Jan 21, 2020 and she said she had no control over how quickly the company refunds on cancellations. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she would not let me, saying no one could help speed up my refund. I am very unhappy about first, being pressured into buy this two items at a cost of $3400 and second, not having the cancellation handled in a timely basis. I am paying interest on this $3400 and am not getting any benefit from the money. If it takes so long to cancel a contract, then Orr Nissan should refund my money and they can wait for the company to send them the refund.
Again, no where in the contract does it say it will take such a long time to cancel and receive your funds back.

Desired Outcome

Refund of every penny of a contract I was pressured into buying and a Gap insurance I requested be cancelled within less than a week after purchase.

I have finally received a complete refund credited to my account and am satisfied with the completion of this complaint. Orr Nissan finally contacted me and we got everything taken care of.
