Hello ***,
This is in response to the above referenced ID# ***
Our client is correct in stating that he did receive a quote
for an auto policy Due to an unknown glitch that affected at least clients that we are aware of at this time, an additional vehicle was somehow added to the policy Because we did not add the additional vehicle, we were not aware of the auntil an *** review, which all policies go through, noticed the error.When we were made aware of the error from ***, we contacted the client and corresponded via email and phone between July and July We did everything in our power as the agency involved to resolve the issue, but nothing was to the satisfaction of the client We even sent the client a $prepaid *** *** card to offset the dollar amount of the error We can not adjust the policy to provide the refund Only *** can adjust the policies and they would not The only way we could remedy the situation, was to provide the gift card, which we were more than happy to provide to correct this situation
Of all the clients affected by this glitch, this was the only client to take offense to the situation.
We understand that taking care of our clients is our number one job We also understand that standing behind our products and services is part of taking care of our clients Unfortunately, we as agents for ***, do not set the pricing and refund guidelines Those are set through *** and the state regulatory boards

Review: After getting a quote for auto insurance with [redacted], giving all my info. I go with them and pay the bill in full, but a month later I get a new bill for $50+ more because they say there was a computer glitch. I asked what the glitch did, and they are try to tell me it gave me a discount for having two cars, but the policy was only written for one car????? I asked how can they justify charging me for their mistake they stand by and say it was a computer glitch. I call foul!!! This is bait and switch all day long!!! NEVER use the Ormsby Insurance Group for your Insurance needs!! I was a loyal [redacted] customer for over 20 years, one bad agent has soured that!!Desired Settlement: not charge me for their mistake

Due to an unknown glitch that affected at least 5 clients that we are aware of at this time, an additional vehicle was somehow added to the policy. Because we did not add the additional vehicle, we were not aware of the add-on until an [redacted] review, which all policies go through, noticed the error.
When we were made aware of the error from [redacted], we contacted the client and corresponded via email and phone between July 9 and July 24. We did everything in our power as the agency involved to resolve the issue, but nothing was to the satisfaction of the client. We even sent the client a $50 prepaid [redacted] card to offset the dollar amount of the error. We can not adjust the policy to provide the refund. Only [redacted] can adjust the policies and they would not. The only way we could remedy the situation, was to provide the gift card, which we were more than happy to provide to correct this situation.
Of all the clients affected by this glitch, this was the only client to take offense to the situation.
