Review: I hired [redacted] of O.R.I.O.N Installations in November of 2014 to tear off and reroof my home. He gave me bid, a contract and guaranteed his work. It took him2 months to finish the roof and now there are numerous issues with the work. There are dozens of exposed nail, missing shingles, exposed wood on my roof. The flashing is not against my siding and has been pounded with a hammer in attempt to make it flat. Hundreds of roofing nails were put through my porch roof. [redacted] cut them down and tried covering them. The nails have now rusted. I have 3 leaks on my roof. After cutting them, he painted them and the paint dripped all over my porch and siding. He and his employees threw the shingles off and scratched up my new window and gouged and scraped 3 of my window sills, deck rails and steps. The flashing is improperly placed, looks very messy and not placed in all areas where it should be. There are large areas where the shingles are not placed properly. During the tear off, my roof was left uncovered during a rain storm. It resulted in two large leaks in my ceiling. [redacted] attempted to repair both but one still has a large seam that it damaged from the water. The shingles on the very top do not even meet together at as the drip edges are not consistent. His contract states that he guarantees his work but he is unwilling to fix the problems or even come out and look at them. I've made several attempts to have him fix it but he either won't respond, tells me he is too busy or that he won't fix them. Product_Or_Service: RoofDesired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Replacement I ask that [redacted] repairs the areas where shingles are not properly placed, nails are exposed and flashing is improperly placed or missing. Shingles need to be the same length over the edges of the roof. The damaged window, window sills and deck rails need to be replaced. The roof over the porch where the nails were put through need to be replaced down to the wood and paint. The kitchen ceiling where there is water damage needs to be repaired. The asphalt from the shingles in the gutters removed.
