I rented an apartment here for a year while working in Alpharetta (between fall of and fall of 2016)I own a home in NC so this apartment was used less than half the time since I travel extensively for work and spend weekends in NCAt the end of the year I decided not to renew the lease since I was using the apartment so littleI paid to have Deerfield clean the apartment so there would be no question of cleanlinessI was a little surprised when I didn't receive my deposit back (as an example, I didn't use the stove or oven once during my stay)I was even more surprised when a collection agency called saying I owed almost $dollarsMy account online did not show a charge and when Deerfield was contacted, we were informed that they couldn't tell us what the charge was for and the manager wouldn't talk to us until it was paidI had left my home address as the forwarding address (which was also on the original paperwork) but were never contacted prior to turning over this "fee or cost" to a collection agency I would strongly suggest looking at other options before choosing Deerfield Village Apartments
any attempt to get info to receive a hardship from my 401k program has been met with a Against company policy first off, this is now called deerfield village, the site is out dated and a new company owns it since the 18th of June I have been seeking a dated letter on a official company paper stating the amount I owe at a date days in the future \this is for a hardship withdrawal from my 401k My first attempt was on the 20th of June, only to be handed a badly worded letter with no value on the 30th of June I called to find out the delay only to come to realize that the letter was not received even though I got a letter from the leasing office claiming that it was sent many calls later and here I am days from being evicted, no time left with money to fix this problem but a company/leasing office that doesnt want to deal with it
