Review: I visited the campsite on 6-13-13. I was directed to pick a site. After settling in to campsite I came back to forced me to pay double price for site.
I visited the orchard Springs camp resort in June of 2013 on the 13th - 15th. The gate attendant sowed us the available sites on a map and told us to come back and pay after we get into the site. We found a site and set up our camping gear. I go back to find out that he wants to charge us for the site next to it also. He sais there's no way he can get someone into the site next to us as they are too close together so we have to pay for both. $60 extra for two days. Since we had already set up it would have been hard to break down everything. The only option he gave us is to leave or pay for two sites. So I had to pay $60 extra. Desired Settlement: I just want the $60 - the two days I was charged for the next campsite I didn't use.

Business' Initial Response
I was unable to respond by going directly to the website address provided. Mr. [redacted] has been contacted and a refund of $58.00 will be going out directly to his home address via check since he had paid by cash.
When Mr. [redacted] visited our campground on June 26th & June 27th, he was put in a site that can only be rented together on the weekends. We had a new gate person that was not aware that it could be rented out separately during the week.
At no time was staff aware that Mr. [redacted] was not happy and he never gave us the opportunity to amend the situation.
