Orangetheory Fitness Channelside

I was a member at OTF for the 3 months I lived in Tampa. Since I knew I was leaving the area, I had prepaid for the final month and filed cancellation paperwork well in advance to ensure I would not be billed after I moved. However, the studio somehow "lost" the paperwork, and attempted to bill me for 2 months after I had ended my contract. I had to explain the entire process to the studio several times, received over 10 collection emails, several phone calls, and they required me to prove to them that I had paid in full for my 3 months by providing my own bank statements.

Despite proving, when it should have been in their accounting records, that I had paid for the time I was a member, and canceled, I still received phone calls and emails. I requested multiple times for the emails and calls to stop. The calls finally stopped, however, I am still receiving collection emails demanding payment for the current month.

They will not stop trying to charge me after I told them I do not want the service.

To whom it may concern;
In December 2017, I took a "FREE" class at Orange Theory in Brandon, Florida. To participate in the free class, I was required to provide a credit card, which I did. I have been fighting this company ever since over their charges. I had to go in and sign a cancellation as they would not address my issue over the phone; I've had to change credit card numbers, and yet they are still able to charge my account. My credit card company recorded the call in which they blamed a former manager for mismanagement and no longer being with the company (recording in April or May?). Since this recording was made, they continue to try and charge my card and send letters that I owe them money. l cannot provide any documentation as I went into the store to sign the cancellation. But, LETS BE REASONABLE - I HAVE NEVER NOR EVER WILL USE ORANGE THEORY. EVER. So WHY are they demanding payment from me?? Besides their unbelievably expensive services, these are the slimiest of business practices.
