[redacted] membership was cancelled and she was refund two payments of $59.00 back on September 23rd, 2016. Please note that this issue was resolved on our end.
I signed up for a 6-month membership with Orange Theory. The class times were inconvenient and always full so I stopped going and continued to pay my membership for those 6 months. I was then charged for a 7th month and was told that their corporate policy is actually opt-out and there is a 30 day cancelation policy. I had to submit a cancelation form but was then charged for an 8th month (it was not prorated accordingly).
1. Their enrollment policies are misleading and deceptive
2. Their cancelation policies take advantage of their clients
3. They do not act in good faith
Review: Orange Theory continues to debit my bank account although I have signed and sent in everything they have asked for regarding cancelling my membership. At this point, I have no idea how to actually cancel my membership and to have them stop debiting my account. This seems wrong and I want it made right.Desired Settlement: I want the last $159.00 that was debited - credited back to my credit card and I want to know that my membership is, indeed, cancelled.
This business is lacking customer service. I had a dispute on my credit card I needed handled immediately, I tried calling the manager 3 times, 2 times I left a message with his staff and 1 time I left a message on their answering machine to call me back. I didn't get called back until I finally found an email address, and [redacted] the manager finally contacted me via email, still no phone call. I was charged an extra $30 on my account which I was never informed of in my original discussion with [redacted] after my first class nor in person when I was purchases my classes.
A month later I receive another charge to my credit card, at no point in his sales pitch or charging my credit card did he mention it was a month to month contract.
Their price structure is incredibly confusing, and hidden fees.
The reason for so many calls at the beginning was because I was not even able to use any of my purchased classes due to an error on their end and their scheduling program which took 2 weeks to fix.
