Upon paying $for a heating and air conditioning installed Opie's promised to duct and heat and a/c my house properlyThey have tried to fix the issue but have failed to provided what the contracted promisedI was told by my sales person that it was the most efficient unit they had, and my bills would dramatically decrease instead they have gone up because they now say the unit has to run all the time to heat my houseOf course they say this after having to trouble shooting because their unit is not heating the house like they promisedThey also promised a year warranty , but what they don't tell you is there is a $service fee to fix their branded productOpies ideology was if you buy a new car you still have to pay for its repair after it broke( I own new cars and have never had to pay to fix a warrantied item) The furnace has broke every year since we have had it I was promised that if the furnace was not right they would rip it out and replace with with the p

Everything they had to come back and fix was of their doing, they selectively left out the part when they flex piped my whole house and they had to came back to do it 75% right with hard pipe(
All credibility is loss when he omits certain information) They finished ducting the main part of the house but I still have flex pipe going to the back part that will not heat due to poor ductingFLEX PIPE WILL NOT PUSH AIR ANY DISTANCE. I have to run electric heaters to keep this room warm yet, Doug the sales person knew the house had very little duct work even crawled under the house to look and agreed that it needed to be ducted properlyMy contract it says duct the whole house! They disconnected the duct to the basement and never ran a new lead to it, it still has no heat to this dayYes they've come out to fix and add to what was promised when we signed the contract but never finished the work properly. Don Opie has never been in my house so he himself hasn't a clue of the issues that were left undoneI've given him many opportunity to fix the ducting issuesAs for the energy audit It was done when requested. Mr Opie was supposed to call me back when I complained about my bills going up and he never did, so he wouldn't know if one was completedThe audit showed I have adequate insinuation and the windows are within years old. I've since had another company come an as the install and duct work and they are currently putting together an estimate to fix and duct the house properly. MrOpie is not allowed on my property and should be ashamed of the way he conducts businessHe took over $from me to install junk in my houseAs for the facts they presented 8/4/12 Leaking, It was again poor craftsmanship on install that cause water leak down the vent pipe and into the house.8/8/12 One rooms degrees the other is degrees poor duct work install they had to put dampers in to stop the back of the house from being blasted with air. Also the lead they installed in kitchen was a duct that was forgotten by them. ( Again something they should have checked before they left the house the fist time remember their the professionals.)8/27/12 Installed condensation pump , They are supposed to be professionals and just let the water from condensation and a Humidor that they installed leak under the house that would have caused mold if not correctedAgain poor craftsmanship and Quality Control.12/3/12 Add duct work to daughters room.. Yes they failed to hook up the other duct to the floor vent that was already thereMaybe over looked still not completing the job of ducting the house like in the kitchenPoor Quality Control1/4/13 Hard to have heat loss when ya don't have any heat coming out of the duct work..1/16/13 Total duct work is closer to feet again it's work that should have been done right the first timeRoom was and is still coldVents above doors should have also been done as returns are needed. I never had a bill over $with the old Furnace and it actually kept the house warm.12/9/14 Noise they didn't install the door on the furnace properly and was was squeaking.12/7/We never has a conversation about a energy audit.2/1/Flame sensor I was told I had a year warranty the flame sensor would have been $under warranty. BTW any hardware store has them new for $24.99 So the price is grossly inflated for the fact of the info they provided.I did post an honest review on Face Book of the services I've received from Opies. of his personal lines are: If your not ducted right we should sell you some duct work, and my reply was how much more do I need to pay when it was in my contract? Of course it was another reason thenSecond line: When you buy a new car and ya have warranty work done you still pay a service fee. I'm shaking my head at that and told him hes buying cars from the wrong people because I've never paid a service fee for warranty workIts called customer service and standing behind the product you install.When I've spoke with Opie his demeanor has always instantly been defensive. It's was my fault for every issue on the furnace they installed. I will not let him on my property any longer or let him demean me As you can see by the facts he posted there is a pattern of poor workmanship and quality control within his business and my willingness to work with his company any longer is not viable(This posted in his own words he signed it!)

On Friday February 3rd Opie's One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning provided two service technicians to fix my broken furnaceThe work that they did did not fix the problemOn Saturday February 4th my furnace stopped working yet again*** *** *** (M.E.S) of St Cloud, MN came to fix the problem on Monday February 6thI contacted the own of Opie's One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning who, after seeing my invoice from M.E.S., agreed his business had not fulfilled their duty and was going to use it as a training experience for his techniciansHe said he would refund my money but only if I write him a positive customer reviewIf I do not comply, I will not get my money backHe provided me his email to do or said I could write and sign a physical letter, in which case we could meet in an agreed upon location and do a refund/review exchange

HELLO THIS IS DON *** THE OWNER OF ONE HOUR HEATING AND A/C-YES MS *** IS CORRECT WE WERE OUT THERE ON 2/3/FOR A NO HEAT SERVICE CALL,HOWEVER WHEN WE LEFT, THE FURNACE WAS OPERATING AND HAD HEAT SHE THEN CALLED THE TECH THAT WAS ON THE JOB AND SAID WAS NOT HEATING AGAIN THAT SAME EVENING .HE
