I contacted *** approximately Dec 2016 to inquire about getting a service dog for my daughter who is now permanently disabled and in a wheelchair.
Everything was done verbally, or by email. There never was a contract signed, just an agreement to us to pay $12,000 and he would provide us with a fully licensed service dog. He said he would bring us the dog once it was trained since we were in Missouri and he was in Texas. It was agreed that after half was paid up front he would start looking for a dog. That didn't even happen until after we had paid the dog in full, which was not until March 2018.
Several dogs were promised to ***. I believe there were 6 different ones and for whatever reason when it came time to bring the dog, there was always an excuse as to why that dog wouldn't work, therefore, starting the process all over again.
May 3, 2019, *** flew to us with a Belgain Malinous and the plan was for him and the dog, ***, to stay in our house while he trained *** how to command her. That dog would not even sit on command the first night! The next day, it attacked our resident 14 lb dog by the throat almost killing her. I ended up with a vet bill. *** pulled *** out of service and told *** she would be top priority to get another dog. He then booked a flight to leave earlier than anticipated, at my expense. No communication since.
Throughout this whole process, there has been a HUGE lack of communication. Unanswered text messages, email, voice messages and no returned calls when you schedule on his planner for a phone conversation.
June 20, 2019 I sent email notice to him and *** (his secretary?) on our desire to end relations with him and requested a full refund for services not rendered and got not response. A second email was sent July 10, 2019 requesting full refund again.
