Review: On June 23, 2015 I called [redacted] and spoke to a promoter named [redacted]. He was advertising a Boat Cruise for the 4th of July, I found out about the event and got the details on the Instagram post I came across, I then googled other information about this event and when I was comfortable with wanting to attend, I made the call to [redacted]. He explained everything about the event and then [redacted] sent me (in a text message) a link called Cash.me (similar to a PayPal) this was a direct purchase via a link to [redacted]. There was nothing on anything I have come across that ever said that I wouldnt get my money back should I not be able to attend. There was nothing that made me consent to the purchase or anything, they asked for my card number, zip code and cvc card code and that was all. I contacted [redacted] 3 days later on June 26th and told him I was unable to attend due to a medical issue and requested a refund of the $80 I paid him. At this point, again, there was NOTHING stating ALL SALES ARE FINAL or anything about no refunds on the advertisements or on the link he sent PRIOR to when I paid the $80it was only AFTER I paid and asked for a refund that he tells me he will not give me the money back and its my own fault. I asked for his full name, the name of the company he works for and the address of his company and he refuses to give me any information. I have text messages between us that states many times that I tried to do the right thing I was trying to resolve the issue in a reasonable manner and he has blocked my calls and wont even give me information should I even want or could attend the event. At this point I feel as though he scammed me out of $80Desired Settlement: I except a full refund of $80 for the 2 tickets I purchase on 6/23/15. I also don't think the casinos in Atlantic City should use this persons services and I would like them to help as well.
