Took vehicle in for a recall and got it back with a chemical smell and bad noise from the heater, heater then stopped working. No issues with before.
I took my vehicle in to have a recall done to repair an issue with the heater. I had not been having nor had there been any problems with the heater before the recall was done. When I got my car back is smelled of chemicals when I turned the heater on and the heater was making loud noises which I recorded on video. My car had never made any noise before and it did not smell of chemicals before the service was done. I called the dealership and let them know if the smell and noise. They set an appointment to look at it on Thursday the *** of ***. The heater stopped working completely on the Thursday before, so I called and they had me drop off the vehicle on Saturday the ***. Today the *** I was told "***, I just talked to me service manager, we checked it out and it is not something that could have been caused during the wiring. I also talked to the previous advisor which stated the smell was present prior to the recall being preformed. We can defiantly replace that for you today it would run about *** plus tax. Let me know what you would like to do." by the service advisor. There were no smells in the vehicle prior to them working on it and the heater worked just fine before the touched it. Now all the sudden bad smells and no working heat.
Return the vehicle with working heat and no noise from the blower

Subject: Case ID
Hello, how do I go about closing my case. I was contacted by the company and they resolved the issue.
On, *** I purchased a *** Jaguar *** SOLD TO ME AS NEW. After reaching about 12,000 miles on *** I took the car to the local Jaguar dealer here in *** for its first service.
At that time I was told the car was originally sold on *** and I had missed my first two warranty inspection/service. These would have had to have been received within 30 days of the month of ***, or *** the first date of course was in effect when I bought the car, and the second date had passed 5 months before I arrived at the local dealership.
I want compensation for losing my first two inspection/service, and being lied to about the car being new. When I spoke to the salesman (***) about this he told me they sold the car to themselves to take advantage of rebates available at the time. I paid for the oil change at the local dealer when I took the car in $*** aprox. The bigger issue is they fraudulently sold me the car "as new" when it had already been sold once which triggered the warranty.
Product_Or_Service: *** Jaguar
Billing Adjustment When a oil change costs $*** the full two inspections/service would have a value of something the dealership would know, I want at least that full amount plus $*** for my time trying to get them to make it right, and dealing with the local dealer to find out the truth.

This resolves my problem of getting service the car was unused but because of title assignment within the dealership my warranty period was started well before my purchase. This allows me to pay for the services normally covered by warranty.
