We have made multiple claims via the Broil King/Onward Manufacturing website and ALL have been ignored. We have multiple rust spots, Rusty grills and other parts failing.
We either want it replaced, fixed or a refund.
The OMC Warranty is effective from date of purchase and is limited to the repair or replacement of parts at no charge.
All warranty is handled directly by OMC. Parts must be returned to OMC Warranty Department or photos provided of parts, accompanied by Model Number, Serial Number, and if the grill is not registered, proof of purchase (copy of sales slip or invoice). If inspection confirms the defect, OMC will repair or replace such part in accordance with the terms of the warranty.
On July 2nd 2020 at 2:35pm EST photos were requested to be provided to complete warranty claim and determine which components were needing replacement.
To date, no photos have been received.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We have sent photos to one of their representatives, *** who confirmed that they were indeed received. This is after we filed a claim on their online system (Have 2 separate claim #'s to prove)and uploaded the photos. *** told us via email that they were behind due to Covid. *** requested our credit card number, ***, and also provided us a receipt. Nothing was ever shipped and he ignored the claims regarding the rusted our doors and shelves. ***. We have all over our emials to prove.
I purchased a [redacted] BBQ in May 30, In early spring of it began dripping oil on the outside of the cabinet areasIn early April I contacted [redacted] ***, filing the complaintSince that time, after myself submitting photos, making phone calls and emails, all I have been constantly told, is the engineers are trying to find a solution to the problem Just recently, another leak around the drip pan onto the floor of the cabinet has developedTo be fair to [redacted] ***, I have not relayed this latest issue to them yet, as it has just occurred The names of the people I have had contact with are: [redacted] Your help to have this issue resolved would be greatly appreciated Thanks [redacted]
We bought our Broil King Baron grill in April for $The grill quit working early July We instantly called Onward MFG and were sent instructions to reset the grillThat did not work we called again and were sent a new valve; we installed and it still does not workThe grill is not pushing propane to the carryover causing the flame to protrude towards the front only I called again on Friday asking for a supervisor was told no one is available until TuesdayToday a Mrs [redacted] called us stating no refund or new grill would be providedShe said they would work to send us the correct part for us to install after we send her pictures of the grill [redacted] My husband and I are not repair men and Onward is having us do their repair workMy husband already has had one flame up while trying to take the requested picturesHe is luckily ok but we are not doing anymore repairsI am requesting either a new grill, a repair man or a full refund [redacted]

This company sold me something that was not even available & sent the wrong thing to meI was told to return it for a full refund which took weeks & around hrs on the phoneThey also charged a 20% restocking fee for THEIR MISTAKE!!!
purchased *** bbq cast iron grills rusted out in less than one year contacted them they sent me out new set of cast iron grills May now they have rusted out just as badI followed video on how to season grills before use and after every use but to know avail.I once again contacted them explaining my problemand they said my warranty ran out.has I read the warranty those grills are warrantied for two years so since my last set of grills were received May I should get another set.*** the model now comes with porcelin coated grills more or less addmiting their problem with their inferior grills
I purchased a Huntington brand grill at my local ***I initially had trouble when the grease collection cup listed in the components was not in the boxI called customer service who informed me that the cup was not included as was suggested in the included instructions and I was advised to use a soup canThe first sign of a terrible companyHowever, I have been using the grill regularlyWithin one cooking session, the lids falls off every single timeThere was a small pin included that is meant to secure the lid, but it pops off after the lid is opened and closed about ten timesAfter that, if one is not vigilant, a lid that is probably about degrees farenheit just comes off in your handsI have burnt myself, but god forbid a child or teenager tried to use this grill, things could be more seriousIt is a safety hazard, could start fires, and melt fleshI will certainly never purchase another product from this company and have been warning everyone I know to stay aw

Replacement parts were required to fix older BBQs that were past their warranty dates
*** (Onward Manuf Co.) sent the parts within a week...at no charge

looking to get new porcelin cast iron grills which i will pay the difference from the cast iron grills
We have reached out to the customer looking for more information from them(pictures of the grids, details of how they have cared for the grids and the temperatures they typically cook at, etc) to look into their case further.
We also advised the customer that the warranty on the grids is 2 years from the date of purchase of the grill, and the date of purchase we have from them is more than 2 years ago. We asked them to advise us if the date we have is incorrect so that we can update our file to have the correct information.
Additionally, we advised the customer that the cast iron grids that originally came with their BBQ grill, the replacement grids that they were sent under warranty, and the grids on the 2018 *** are all porcelain coated.
We have not as of yet received a reply.
