resolve per patient request, as well as prescribing a medication, so a charge was warranted and generated.The patient paid her co-pay by credit card on the day of the service.  The patient also paid the balance of the bill by check when the statement was received, two months before her phone call to our office.  On the day of her phone call to the billing office, 8/2/17, her credit card was refunded the portion she had paid by credit card, and a check was mailed for the portion she had paid by check.
