Revdex.com San Diego September 3, Donald *** – Complaint dated September 1, Dear Sirs and Madams: Thank you for forwarding the above referenced complaint to my attentionWe investigated and I can report as follows: Mr [redacted] registered for and attended a three day class at our Irvine Center which commenced on August 14th and ran through August 16th On August 16th he requested the opportunity to enroll in additional classesHe provided a $deposit in cash on August 16th and made special arrangements to come back to our Irvine Center and bring the rest of his deposit on or before August 25th We heard no more from Mr [redacted] until August 21st when he called the office and left a voicemail requesting a refundThe call was returned by staff member A asking to discuss that with himAs he had paid cash we needed to figure out if he was coming in to pick up the cash (which of course we can’t mail) or if he wanted a checkHe did not return the call On August 27th Mr [redacted] sent an email to different member of staff (“B”) requesting a refundStaff member B was actually out of state on vacation but nevertheless responded to his email within fifteen minutes and said that she was out of the office and would return and process his refund immediately on Tuesday September 1st An hour later Mr [redacted] emailed a third member of staff (“C”) accusing staff member B of deliberately withholding his moneyStaff Member C forwarded this email to staff member B and she responded again by forwarding that email stream back to Mr [redacted] and reiterating that she would process his refund on September 1st when she was back in the office On September 1st Mr [redacted] and staff member B spoke on the phone and arrangements were made to mail him a check We have evidence that the check was delivered to Mr [redacted] on September 2nd at 10:a.m We note that from August 21st when Mr [redacted] requested a refund through September 2nd when he received a full refund only days had passedIf Mr [redacted] had returned the call back he received on August 21st the refund could have been processed in a matter of days Very Best Regards, [redacted] , General Counsel / [redacted] Style Definitions */

I've been doing business with OTA-DC for about a year now and I am impressed with the quality of education, the level of service, the people and their genuine dedication, the cleanliness of the center and the instruction is the best I've ever experienced. 5 starts and 2 thumbs up.

Dear [redacted],Online Trading Academy has been in operation in [redacted] VA since 2007 and we have had thousands of students come through our doors during that time. [redacted]s complaint is the first Revdex.com complaint we have received and in fact is the first we have heard...

from [redacted] since 2012. One of the reasons we do not receive many complaints is that when students communicate they have an issue to our management team we resolve it in a reasonable manner.Our records indicate she did speak with one of our employees about cancelling her agreement several weeks after attending her education program with her husband, [redacted], but she never escalated a concern to a manager or provided us anything in writing that could be addressed at that time. In fact, she continued to make payments with the third party finance company through October 2012 so as far as we could see, she had no issue with her education program. We have never been provided fair opportunity to resolve any issue with [redacted] until this time.In her complaint against us she has not requested a resolution, but we have asked the third party financing company that she contracted with to cancel her financing agreements for education programs which she has not attended and applied payments she made to us to the education program she and her husband did attend in June 2012. This education program provides her with lifetime retake privileges and continued access to online resources.Our education program is focused on helping students generate income and build wealth in the financial markets by applying our patented Core Strategy of identifying market turning points to reduce risk and make safer and Smarter decisions with their money. The real tragedy of this complaint is that [redacted] does not understand what was taught in her program.Please let me know if there is anything further we need to do to resolve this matter.Thank you,

I am writing in reference to your letter dated September 6th ,20L7 with the reply of Ms. [redacted] to myanswer to her complaint. While I stand by my complete statement in response to her original complaintI feel someone has to step up and put an end to this.I will accept all monies paid to date as settlement in full on all education used to date. lf acceptable toMs. [redacted] we will contact the company who financed her loan for the education to send the loan back tous and we will settle it with them.I appreciate the involvement of the Revdex.com in this issue and await an answer on how weshould proceed.

Review: My complaint is that Online trading academy is a scam! they charge you money and take your time but deliver you absolutely nothing and it's all a sales pitch for further sales- they start with a free class that will teach you to trade but when you arrive you realize it teaches you NOTHING but a sales pitch and then they ask you to sign up for a 3 day course where they again only try to get you to buy further courses but teach you absolutely nothing. they take away the last few dollars of people who struggle from paycheck to paycheck therefore I felt a moral responsibility to report itDesired Settlement: refund plus for Revdex.com information in order to help others not fall for such a scam
