Review: I contacted Online Collections in reference to an item listed on my credit report. I made an imediate payment on the collection account and requested a reciept. The reseptionist advised they would send one to my residence. I recieved the reciept, but the item is still showing unpaid on my credit file as well as disputed. I requested in writing that the statement "Disputed by customer" be removed from the credit file. I contacted Equifax, and they stated that this is a code supplied by the collection agency and the only way for it to be removed was by them. They advised that I could dispute the account and have it updated to paid, but this would not help the comments. I contacted Online Collections and the manager stated that he would resend the information to the credit agency, but after a month there is still no resolution. I made contact with them again today requesting conformation that the account "Paid" information was sent to the credit agency and they said that they could not supply that information. I have left messages with multiple managers as well as collection staff with no resolution. I recieved the general managers information today and left a message with no return call.

I would like this account to be updated with the correct paid status as well as the "disputed" code removed from the comments and file. If this is not possible I would like this account removed from the credit agency all together.

The Online Solutions I was connected with has not been in business for at least 8 years. I became bed ridden with a condition for 3 years and have been working in the insurance industry for 5 years. I have no knowledge of this case, never had a receptionist, it was a one-man operation. There were many comapnies liste with that name when I originally started the business and you obviously contacted the wrong one.
