Regards, Stephane is a liar.Or something is wrong with his mind. He and his men acknowledged they didn't wrap the painting on both sides and when they saw the tears they showed it to me. Little did I know he would later try to say something else damaged it.Stephane is the one who instructed me where to take my painting to repair it . I had used a restoration person before when one of my paintings had been damagedi didn't have 50 pieces of art. I have about 10 pieces. Stephane is the one that told me where to sign. He didn't explain anything about any insurance. I would have taken it out if it had been explained.
I would never recommend this company as the owner is a liar. I live by the theory that you treat people the way you want to be treated, and this is not the way one would want to be treated. They also damaged my antique grand father clock and didn't repair it as they said they would. what goes round will come around ..please protect others from these [redacted]. Sent: Thursday, August 18, 2016 8:55 AM Subject: Complaint #[redacted] It was very unfortunate that the painting was damaged. However consider “relative humidity” as the reason why this particular piece was damaged. If you recall we moved over 50 pieces of art and mirrors for you....
we used cardboard boxes to protect all of them including this one. I guarantee you We never punctured it nor drop the piece while taking it to our truck. I handled it myself. It started deteriorating once it went outside in the element. That day it was very humid outside and it was very dry inside your home. Drastic change in temperature and relative humidity are major factors in damaging a painting. Furthermore if you look behind your painting you will see several previous damages on it which contributed more to the damage. These previous damages were probably due for the same reasons. Lastly additional insurance is offered to all of our clients including you and you decided not to purchase any insurance. Please see below where you signed off on rejecting additional insurance. (Line Item C). *All the info you need about our company can be found on the receipt we provided you. Stephane
We refunded the client for her blanket. We did not have a dolly in our possession however we have used dollies here that we can share with the customer. Please let us if there is anything else we need to do
