They are a good lenderBut they start calling you on the
Payment date wanting there moneyAnd they call all day long sometimes back to back
I will not use them again unless I was desperate

The service and support has been greatI have had no issues with payment, or any part of the processThe branch location in Amherst has some of the nicest folks who remember you and care about you as a personIt reminds me of how banking used to be

I was sent a letter that I was pre-approved, once I spoke to a representative she stated that they were not able to help meI have a loan with a previous lender that I was going to have one main pay off as well as consolidate my credit cardsthe present lender has a lien on my car title which is understandable, however the loan was to pay them off, therefore once they sent the check to them to pay off my loan with them that would be removing their name off the title as the lien holder, therefore one main would be able to replace the old lender with themself And after a couple of days for waiting on an answer they told me that they do not do liens...I don't know if that makes sense to anybody else but it doesnt make sense to me because lender would not be on the title once paid and OneMain Financial would then be listed as the lien holder....they spend time sending out letters stating that you are approved and then you get denied for reasons that don't make much since I have since been trying to talk to someone on a corporate or managerial lever but have not been able to even reach anybody yet...but I will keep trying

Overall the customer service is great! I am very disappointed that they now charge to make a payment over the phone

That is has nothing to do with the fact that I am an excellent customer, thinking of giving you my businessThis is without even greeting me or saying good morningI hang up the phone and will not take the loanIf you do not want my business, pleasedon't keep advertising and encouraging me to apply for the loanI do not want to call a place to feel like I am inconvenience

Got prequalified for a loan onlineAlready had a loan with the companySpent over and half weeks verifying income even though I provided what I had in the past and MORE they asked for new, additional paperwork every other dayI had more than enough current income verified by two jobs and a state checkThey still would not do the loanWasted over weeks of my timeNever called back when they saidI had to always callVery difficult to work withPromisesJust tell me at the beginning rather than waste weeks of my timeWill not use this company againTheir Pattern Screams discriminatory, subjective and incompetent

Interest rate is unbelievably high this is a last resort kinda placeif you needed a vehicle loan go somewhere elsei went for a personal loan to consolidate my creditSo I could get a newer vehicle soonBut somehow walked away with a vehicle loanThey wanted my truck title as collateralIt's a old truck now I'm stuck with itThey were not willing to take any other route into considerationI didn't know this was a place somone with bad credit would go toIt's location was in a very poor neighborhood

Good serviceMy only suggestion is that if a person shows a consistent payment cycle they should get a lowered interest rate

I used the St louis Missouri office, They were very very good with helping me get the proper paperwork in and I will be using them again and letting friends and family knowI am very happy with them

I have done business with One Main twice now on two loans and in both cases they have really been very professional and outgoingHaving been an Operations Manager for a large bank, I can tell you that One Main competes with the banks and not like the "stereotypical loan company!"
