Went online looking for a quick small loans to pay a few things off, no one would look into it for me due to past credit issues Slowly digging myself out due to my own bad decisions & a work closure One Main answered all my questions quickly, approved me almost instantly & I had the check the next day Granted, the rate is higher, but it helped out for what I needed & the payment comes right from my checking account every month leaving me less to worry about Will be paid off soon as well Will definitely use again since credit will be better will get a better rate Recommend to anyone who needs a hand when no one else will help
The customer service representatives were very friendly and very helpfulThey did not rush you and made sure that all your questions were answeredI will definitely use again

Fast and easy
I am definitely on my way to great credit and I check my credit score on a regular basis with Credit Karma, Credit Sesame, and well as MYFICO score I have been paying all my credit card bills on time and wanted to consolidate my credit card debt with a loan Credit Karma suggested One Main Financial I only wanted to apply for But was told in Georgia I had to apply for AT least 3000.00; realizing that that there are also repairs that I needed to do my car, I went ahead and stated that I wanted the loan and was "approved." My info was given to this local branch in Lithonia and everything went downhill from thereThe rep told me two fax a copy of my i.dalong with a copy of my two most recent paycheck stubs I paid at a local FEDEX to have the information faxed Called One Main to confirm if they received my information A rep stated they did not receive it and told me that they were about to close out the loan since they had not heard from me? Makes no sense when I called the very next day to confirm if they received my information So then I hear "Well, I will be handling your loan now." The young lady who assisted me from that point on gave me an email address to send the exact same documents AGAIN! Very annoyed with the professionalism at this point, I sent the documents via email along with my disgust with the manner in which my loan matters were being handled Several times the loan rep told me she would call me back to confirm what other information I needed to process I always had to call her; to add she was very rude and felt too comfortable with me She stated "Can you come into today to get your check." Of course, I was working and wanted to make an appointment to come on After a week and a half of sending all kinds of information, I then find our that this loan is nothing that I requested but was in fact a TITLE LOAN!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I work for a credit union and would NEVER apply for a title loan with ANYONE; the interest rated on those loans are at like 70-90%!! NO GOOD!!! So after becoming totally aggravated that I had a credit inquiry placed on my account and mislead into believing that I was approved for a loan but was actually being scammed into a title loan!!! Told the manager FORGET it and to shred my information Glad I went the opposite wayIf you are approached in any way by ONE MAIN FINANCIAL?? RUN!!! DO NOT FALL FOR THE SCAM!!!!
Sign up for Credit Karma and they suggested to get a loan through youWhile getting my loan I didn't understand why my payments were so highHad to pry it out of the lady to tell me that there is insurance on the loan and that's why it's so highAlso I was never told that there was a fee for even receiving a loanYour employees need to be more knowledgeable and help explain better how the loan worksI dislike that the interest rate goes up just because I do not want insurance on my loan

We contacted Burkhardt to diagnose an issue with our furnace in the home we recently purchasedThey nearly completely disassembled the unit before ultimately identifying a part that they felt needed to be replacedWe informed them that the home we purchased came with a home warranty, for which we would like to file a claim for any needed repairsThey recommended trying the recommended part and proceeding from there, which we agreed toThe part ultimately did not correct the problem, nor did the warranty company cover Burkhardt as a service providerThey refused to attempt to return the part and left the furnace in piecesWe nevertheless signed the final invoice, provided our credit card number, and agreed to move onTo our surprise, we were then actually charged more than the amount on the signed invoice and also charged 28% sales taxWhen calling to dispute the excess charges, we received no explanation from the person we spoke to (***), but overheard his conversation with *
I'm grateful that OneMain trusted me enough to loan me money, my only "complaint" is that like all other loan companies they send out notification in the mail teasing me with the possibility of being able to borrow more but then they turn me down I'd rather they not send me any notifications unless I truly qualify for additional funds:)

The claim that anything more than $of labor was authorized is falseThe inspection of the part of the car that needed repair was incomplete and so the work was misquotedThe mistake is the shop/mechanic's responsibility, and it is poor and suspect business practice to perform and charge for work that was not discussed prior to it being done
As for "not showing" for my initial appointment: I had arranged to drop the car off in the morning of 5/17/16, but my schedule did not allow itI called the shop during their business hours and left a message (no one answered) to inform them that I wouldn't be able to make it, and they called me back and said that bringing it the next day would be no inconvenience
When called when the work was completed: I expressed to the shop owners my irritation that work was performed without my approvalThey offered that I could use the $being charged toward a complete repair, but we both said that we would discuss it further the next day when I picked up the carI did not agree over the phone to pay the incorrect $charge
The interaction described in their response is inaccurate and incomplete: I was forced to stand and wait for mins outside their shop until the owners arrived at 10:30am (they advertise being open at am)When asked to verify that work was done, Bob (mechanic and owner) became visibly irritated as if I had made an unreasonable requestI became suspicious that any extra work had been done at all if he was hesitant to show meI calmly tried to explain that, as a shop mechanic myself (bikes), I understand how quotes work and that time in a shop is valuable, but Bob immediately escalated the exchange to a tense argument, telling me to pay the full bill or leave, and accused me of "trespassing." Bob told his wife to call the police and went into his office, retaining my car and refusing to show that he had done any work
According to the attached document, my rights as a customer have clearly been violatedRe: Item #- I was not provided with a written estimate of any workRe: Item #- Until the police were present, I was not allowed to verify that work had been performed, since Bob refused to show meRe: Item #- The total charge was more than 10% over what was initially quoted (67% over)
Absolute Auto has not made "every attempt to keep (their) customers happy." They did not offer any attempt even with police present to resolve the disagreement other than demanding the full payment, in cashThe offer of $credit toward any future repairs is unacceptableBob explicitly instructed me to never come back to his shop again, so this is not a valid offerWith the level of disrespect that was shown toward me as a customer, I do not trust the staff at this shop to perform any type of service on any car that I ownThe satisfactory resolution is for Absolute Auto to issue a $refund plus any tax paid
