Initial Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2015/09/25) */
***,
I do apologize that you feel as though you had been taken advantage of and are unclear as to what you referred to as "no money down"Our property offers a "no money down promotion" in order to apply with a waived security deposit
and application fee, meaning that the application processing fee is not needed to submit the application to cover the background check that is required in order to be approved to live at One IllinoisOn the 1st page of the Housing Agreement you had signed it states: "you agree to provide an approved Guarantor or a prepayment of the final two installments before taking possession of your unitFailure to provide one of these two options does not release you from any financial responsibility." Even if you do not take possession of the apartment, you will still owe according to the payment schedule on your Housing AgreementYour first installment is due on the August 1st because you are paying a per day price that equates to a total contracted amountThis total amount is split into equal installments for convenience and are due the first of each monthAlthough we do empathize with your situation, we must uphold what is written in our Housing AgreementPlease feel free to contact One-North Management with any further questions or concerns you might still have
Thank you,

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 14, 2015/09/29) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
If you listen to what you have said you still haven't made any senseYou all take well knowingly advantage of College students which is unfairWhy on earth will I pay first months rent on August 1st and can't move in until August 22nd? As you stated the security deposit is waved along with application fees, so what is that money used for? Another point that you have made also didn't make senseIf I didn't turn in the proper things such as my guarantor information and my "installment" why am I still being held accountable for $6,and don't even lived there??????? That's another way you all are getting over because when it's all said and done you all are going to move someone else into the apartment meaning sense this is now on my credit you are being paid by me and the new person who is moved into my apartmentYou guys do not make any sense and you know it
