Review: on jan.16 2014 we had man from on time shuutters come out and give us an estimate. it was around $1100.00 and it would take 5 to 7 working days to get them in because it was a local manufacture. we said ok. we gave half down, and a man came out on sat. jan. 18 to measure. he said the order would go in on monday jan. 20. it would be wihin a week to receive them then they would call to install them, we said great. around jan. 28 no one had called or left a message so we called them and they said there was a lot of orders and they might not be here until feb. 10. we said that they were supposed to be within a week and it says it on our pamphlet. she said it was out of there hands. we told them why would you advertise this and act like its no big deal. they said they would be here by feb. 10. here we are feb. 17 and they have yet to call or leave a message. I am very upset they would advertise and tell you one thing and after you give them the money they would care less with the customer.Desired Settlement: I would like either a refund or at least $150.00 our purchase price
Review: I purchase 11 window shutters for my home. Wanting to match the 11 which were already installed in my home. I ordered on 7-17-13 and paid a 50% deposit I was quoted about 3 weeks for install. I was contact within that time and scheduled for 8/7 expecting to have shutters installed to my surprise they came back to measure again. I was then told it would be another 2-3 weeks for installation. They finally came out on 10/9/13 to install. I was unable to stay home for the install and have my adult son stay home. When I arrived home I was disappointed to see daylight 1/4" gap around the perimeter frame. This gap was not consistent to my existing shutters, or the other shutters I have purchase for my other properties.I called on 10/9 ,10/15, 10/23 trying to speak with them regarding this to no avail left messages and know one ever called me back. I stopped payment on their final check 10/25 hoping that this would get them to call me back. It did not. I was just served a summons to appear in small claims court 11/7/14. I have been trying again to contact them and there phone is always busy.Desired Settlement: Option 1:I would be happy to pay them the remainder If they were fixed. I don't believe they can re-use these and they need to reorder the correct sizes Also removing them may cause drywall damage and could possible need to have drywall patched and painted. Order correct size and install at no additional cost to me.Option 2:I will accept the shutters the way they are, and give me a refund for the deposit amount $2970.00. And Void the small claims suit. As I will need to purchase new shutter.

RE: Complaint ID: [redacted]
Dear [redacted]:
We received your letter dated October 06, 2014, expressing concerning a complaint filed
from [redacted]. Some background: she complained that her shutters were too
small for her windows, one quarter of an inch all the way around the frame. We filed an
inspection request with the manufacturer, Nonnan Shutters in nec·ember, 2013.
(Warranty Inspection #[redacted]) We thought that Norman Shutters had taken care of
the problem. Upon trying to collect fmal payment, and receiving the letter from Revdex.com, I
have found out that Norman Shutters did not follow up with the inspection. They have
reopened the case, and will be calling [redacted] to set up a time for the inspection. I have
called [redacted], and left a message on the work phone. Her husband didn't want to talk
to·me-at: all; he just·said-to tallno [redacted]. I ardn 't·have an ~mair:ffir tier, bun-see one
on the letter we received from you. I will send her an email telling her ofNorman
Shutters coming to inspect the shutters. We currently have a small claims court date set
for November 04, 2014. We are hoping to get the shutter issues resolved before this date.
You can reach me at any of the numbers listed below.
Sincerely,

Review: We were told and it was represented that we were purchasing Hunter Douglas window treatments,i,e. Blinds. The blinds that we received were not even close to the quality that Hunter Douglas manufactures. When we questioned the owner about it, we got only "mumbo jumbo" and a run-around answer. The owner was not only the rudest person in business, but is quite frankly lying and deceiving on his marketing and sales approach.Desired Settlement: Complete refund and repair damaged doors.
