On Target Taxidermy

WORST experience I have ever had with any business! It would take me an hour to detail every lie [redacted] told me I spent months thinking I had lost $and the biggest buck I've ever shot Literally the very first thing he did was crack the skull plate between the antlers and then managed to mount it with a 21in spread when it was originally 22in I shot my deer September 14th and he mounted it with the cape of a midwest buck in rut, it literally looks nothing like the deer I shot After speaking with another local taxidermist and people that have had him do their work I realized I'm lucky I even got my deer back Like I said, I could write a novel detailing all his lies but just to point out a few issue I had with him: - told me he would order the mount form day and didn't for over a year - told me he would score the deer and never did - did a completely different mount than I paid for and was detailed on invoice - got angry and started yelling if I asked if he had started on my mount months AFTER he told me it would be done - lied about where the cape was being tanned - threatened me and others with litigation if we left a negative review (hence only review here) - told me he didn't have much motivation to finish my deer because I already paid him - lied about when the mount would be finished about a dozen times - also he has repeatedly changed his business name because of how bad his reputation is In the end the mount he gave me looks like the deer is drunk and sad, it's horribleChoosing On Target Taxidermy to mount my deer has been the single worst financial decision I have made in my life, I feel like an it for falling for his lies And believe me when I say this review is 100% honest because he has threatened to sue me for slander if I leave a negative review, so I'm giving you my honest unexaggerated experience

Literally the very first thing he did was crack the skull plate between the antlers and then managed to mount it with a 21in spread when it was originally 22in.

I shot my deer September 14th and he mounted it with the cape of a midwest buck in rut, it literally looks nothing like the deer I shot. After speaking with another local taxidermist and people that have had him do their work I realized I'm lucky I even got my deer back.
