On June, 1, DrL*** performed a comprehensive eye exam finding significant medical condition. DrL*** could not prescribe contacts lenses at that time due to her medical condition. DrL*** referred her to a specialist to evaluate and treat her medical
condition. Once patient was treated by a specialist she was released to come back to DrL*** for the contact lens corneal evaluation. This evaluation was performed on July 20, and a fee associated with that exam was billed to her insurance. The patients insurance denied the claim. We are referring her back to the specialist to prescribe contact lenses and we will not seek payment for the July 20, evaluation
