Did substandard work and will not honor their warranty although I paid extra for it

We do owe Mr*** an apology for the length of time he had to wait for a resolution for the problems with his pump that he was experiencing. It is unusual for
us. We have been experiencing a shortage of experienced personnel, along with the usual weather issues that plague most construction companies and their scheduling. On April 20, we did install a brand new pump at no charge to Mr***, as well as a new pit top, and serviced the line. It is highly unusual for a pump to fail so soon, so we did try simple repairs first. It is our hope that the new pit top will assist the pump to function efficiently and add to its longevity. The pump carries a standard one year manufacturer's warranty. The homeowner should also do routine maintenance for sustained pump performance
