I booked a hotel at Oliver 12 South through *** on 2/23/20. I selected the Pay at Hotel option and received confirmation via email that my reservation was complete, with the total being $178.83. That same morning, I noticed that $263.82 was deducted from my bank account and contacted *** to inquire about this charge. *** reached out via telephone to Oliver 12 South and was told that the Pay at Hotel option was only available for 2+ night stays and since I was only staying one night, my card was charged. Oliver 12 South also advised that an $85 cleaning fee was added. I asked for *** to cancel my reservation, which they did. I received verification of the cancellation via email. I was informed that it would take up 5 days to process the refund.
I attempted contact with Oliver 12 South on 2/27/20 to follow up on the refund and to ask for confirmation that the reservation was cancelled and they processed the refund. There was no answer, but I did leave a voice message. I then contacted *** again to inquire. They reached out to Oliver 12 South, who reported that the refund was processed on 2/23/20 and that it would take 5-7 days to process. I did not receive any confirmation stating this. On 3/6/20, I still did not have the money refunded back to my account, so I reached out to *** again and asked for assistance. Two employees attempted to reach Oliver 12 South, but there was no answer. I have also sent 2 emails and 1 *** message to Oliver 12 South, but have not received any communication back. It has now been over 14 days and I have yet to get my money back. Please assist.
Refund I simply would just like my refund processed, so I am able to get the money back that I was charged. The cancellation policy reports that I am within their timeframe to get a full refund. I would also like confirmation that the refund was processed.

The guest booked and prepaid their reservation through a 3rd party provider, ***. They did not pay the hotel directly as the hotel is paid with a different payment from the guest's by ***. Their reservation was cancelled when they requested without penalty from the hotel. The ownership of the refund being issued is not with the hotel but with ***. Please close and remove this complaint from our file as we have complied with guest requests and have not withheld their funds on our end.
