Last month I received a replacement iron from Oliso after speaking with *** in their warranty departmentI sent my
old iron back and they either repaired it or gave me a refurbished ironHe told me this was the last time I would be getting a "free" replacement of my iron as a refurbished or replacement iron carries the original warranty from my original iron (which I bought yrs ago now) so my iron is out of warrantyWhen they send you a replacement/refurbished iron it does not have a warrantyI did ask him if they would replace it if it was defective right out of the box as my last were and he did say in that instance they would do that
I asked why they did not respond to my complaint from the Revdex.com and he told me a different department handles that and he knew nothing of this
So for now I have a working iron, it isn't a new one, but it is workingWe shall see how long it lastIf it breaks down within months, I will have an expensive door stop as I am not going to contact this company or do business with them again
