would refund $57 after her check had cleared our bank. Her payment check was deposited to our bank on July 13. On July 26 I emailed her to let her know the refund check had been mailed. On July 30 the refund check was deposited to our bank.
We are a small company and we do not have electronic processing of checks. We deposit checks to our bank the old fashioned way. Our bank has previously told us that it can take up to 2 weeks for us to be notified if a check is returned so we do not send refunds on check payments until 2 weeks after the check is deposited. She did tell me that her check had cleared her bank but I do not have access to her bank account so I have no way to verify this. The refund check was sent within two weeks and I do not think this is an unreasonable time to wait for a refund on a check. If she had paid for the reservation with cash or credit card we could have refunded immediately.
Concerning the incident with the dog I am very sorry that she was scared by a dog that was off leash and ran up to her.
