O'Leary Properties

O'Leary Properties is a complete rip off. This company doesn't live up to their tenant/lessor agreements. Prior to the move in,I was informed by the Memphis Light Gas and Water company that the house had a high carbon monoxide due to faulty repairs coming from the gas water heater, a wiring issue with the a/c unit as well as a gas leak coming from outside of the house and I wasn't able to move into the home for three weeks. I lived in the home for 6 months on a 2 year lease agreement and was forced out after my home was burglarized. The landlord also refused to repair a serious water leakage coming from the bath tub which caused an infested mold build up in the same areas. The landlord also harassed me constantly about rent even when rent was not due yet.Desired Settlement$5000Business Response The company addressed all the customers complaints on a timely basis. This complaint is without merit. Please ask the former tenant to supply to you proof of payment of her rent payments. That will explain why she was contacted in writing and certified mail regarding rent payments.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I have proof of every payment until my forceful move out date of 9/24/2013. Although breaking the lease was a mutual agreement due to burglarizing of the property, I have yet to receive the proper paper in which we agreed upon after making the last payment on 9/20/2013.
