Review: Pre-sale, Old Wood personnel were accommodating and professional. However, post-sale and post-installation, their customer service has been completely unacceptable and totally unprofessional, especially in light of the top dollars paid.Issues:1) Custom bathroom cabinet and vanity: a) 4 pre-drilled nail holes for handles on all 4 vanity doors, made in error and not filled b) unacceptable spacing, e.g., greater than 3/16" on inset cabinet and vanity doors and uneven between the top and the bottomc) door magnets not properly placed for proper closure on one door d) 15+ nail pops on the tall cabinet and over 10 nail pops on the vanity2) Custom wood kitchen hutch countertop: splintered edge, which frequently catches on person's clothing simply brushing by the countertop edge.3) Reclaimed barn wood kitchen floor: major creaking in a section near the kitchen sink.Remediation attempts: The bathroom cabinet and vanity, the kitchen flooring and the kitchen hutch countertop were installed in August 2013 in conjunction with a complete remodel of both our kitchen and bathroom that was done by another contractor. After completion of the installation, we noticed the issues described above and contacted Old Wood. We explained both in email and telephonically the issues; emails included digital pictures of the issues described. On numerous occasions, the owner/operator of Old Wood promised to fix the issues. He explained some logistical issues that prevented them from getting back to the Baltimore area, but several promised dates came and went with no contact and thus, no resolution. We email and called, expressing our disappointment and dissatisfaction. We advised that we would file a complaint with Revdex.com if not addressed. This threat of action garnered the last response, saying once again our issues would be remediated. However, no action has taken place. Now, 8 months since installation, Old Wood has not favorably acted. We have copies of all email correspondence described above.Desired Settlement: 1) Physically inspect and assess the issues described.2) Develop a course of action and a reasonable timeline to fix the issues satisfactorily.3) Follow the course of action and meet the timeline agreed upon.NOTE: the issues described herein are reasonable and just. Any reasonable person, physically seeing the evidence of our complaints, would understand and accept our case as valid
