I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I first attempted to cancel my membership with Planet Fitness in person on May 10th, which the reply states is an acceptable way to do so as stated in the contract I signedI was told that it would take "a week or two" to take effect and to check in the following weekI did this, and was told that my membership was indeed cancelledHowever despite being told this, Planet Fitness neglected to cancel my membership continued to charge me an additional $While finally making good on cancelling the account is helpful, I still had $taken from me after I was explicitly told by Planet Fitness staff that my membership had already been cancelledWithout a refund, my complaint cannot be resolved.

[redacted]'s membership was cancelled on the 22nd of June when we recieved her cancellation letter in the mail. In the agreement that [redacted] signed, it states that cancellations must be done in person or by certified mail. We received her cancellation via standard mail and her membership...
