Review: I worked with this title company through August up until the end of September as a home seller. During this time I received three different HUD statements outlining money that I owed. The first statement showed a large difference in loan pay outs, 3000 dollars over. I got in touch with my lender and had new numbers sent to the company that were lower. I received an updated HUD reflecting lower #s that held until the day before closing. Old Republic Title failed to find a golf/road assessment to the tune of close to 700 dollars. Again this was not found by the title company, it was found by the new buyers camp...and the day before closing. I quickly signed a new HUD with the promise that this new assessment would be looked into. I advised Old Republic that I did not ever pay this assessment, and was not aware of what it was. No one ever got back to me and I'm out close to 700 dollars.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a refund of the money, minus what I was quoted as owing the day before closing of my house in Estrella MT Ranch.
