Old Glory Flagpole

I purchased what I thought was a made in USA flag pole kit from this scammer outfit. it came in a week late and box had made in China. I called them and they told me I would have to go on the website for the Made in America flag poles. I explained I was on the web site for the american made poles. long story short, I called my credit card co. and they issued me a complete refund for the purchase. I took the chinese made pole to the land fill. I filed a complaint with the BBB in Orem Ut. and to my surprise the company had an A+ rating but had 1000's of complaints just like mine. confused in South Carolina

For obvious reasons, I chose to purchase this flagpole from the link on a Facebook ad. After reading reviews, it felt like a safe bet to upgrade from the generic store bought sectional flagpole. Living in a windy area, the site had me convinced they had a stronger product that will hold up to winds. It turns out, with each wind the pole bends, and bends, and bends even more. Assuming perhaps I had a defective flagpole, I decided to use the 3 year warranty claim knowing that I would have to pay for shipping. Please be aware that shipping is not the same shipping you paid on your first order, but this time shipping is $60. They explain this away by saying they eat most of the shipping cost on your first order. So to use the extended warranty that you purchased, it's the cost of that plus another $60. So after that additional $100 from the purchase of your original flagpole, you will receive a replacement. On the pro side, customer service was genuinely nice and easy to work with. No issues there. I do not recommend this product if you live in a windy area, and if you buy the extended warranty and need to use it, now you know what to expect.

The website is poorly set up, it requires you to put in your personal information such as name, address, and email to even be able to see the prices of their kits. Then it goes straight to asking for a cc number. No options on how to contact them at all on the site, it's likely a scan.

They were extremely helpful and the 30' flag pole we bought has been amazing and we are so proud to fly the flag.

Company is selling Chinese made flag poles that are complete garbage and represents them as American Made and by a veteran owned company. The tubing is only .044 thick and they claim it is 11 gauge which is .125. Also beware return shipping is $59 UPS which they will not cover. Complete scam and false advertising.

This company advertises on Facebook as a Veteran Owned company for American made flagpole kits. I ordered directly from their link and was sent a completely different manufactures flag pole with an American flag made in China.
When I contacted to company to address the concern about my question on quality of the product I received that was advertised on their website, I received excuses on why and replies as to how I can got to their other link and buy American. They even used the line Economics 101 about buying American made versus import. (I bought from them, thinking it was American made).
They have blocked all of my attempts on Facebook to let their perspective clients know this company doesn't sell just what they advertise. They sell wholesale items made by other manufacturers and then try and get you to their other website link to buy American. This company tried to accuse me of being cheap. Not the case, the kit they sold me was $159. I could have bought the exact same kit directly from who actually made it for $75 cheaper. I would have if I had known I wasn't getting what was advertised on Old Glory Flagpole's site. I have all screen shots and emails with my conversations and runaround from this company. They playing the patriotic heart strings of American people wanting American made products, expecting them from an American Veteran Owned business and what their advertisements advertise. No where does their website mention they sell anything other than the brand advertised.
They also advertise "limited time" "sales" for 2 hours, only 30 mins remain. Its the same pitch even days or weeks later.
