I paid $5500 to have an upper and lower eyelid surgery done with this doctor and have had to go and pay someone else to correct part of the mistakes he has made. The upper lids cannot be corrected for another 4-5 years because he took too much skin off. The upper left eye does not match the right eye. The lower has been corrected. I was told from the doctor that corrected them that it was not done right the first time. He didn't remove much fat but he isn't exactly sure on how much because there were no notes in my op report. I had mentioned several times to doctor webster about the lower not looking any better and he said well I couldn't remove all the fat because you would look sunk in. he also said it depends on the lighting. his assistant had said after the surgery that he didn't find any fat to remove. so I have been told several things. I was told that I would need to do maintenance to get the bottom to look better with eye cream and a laser which I paid $200 for. Neither helped. when I had mentioned the left eye looking different than the right he went it and tried to correct it but made it look worse.
Attached.
I am responding to your correspondence in reference to the above captioned patient (customer).
I am familiar with Ms. However, due to certain HIPAA guidelines I am somewhat limited on how to reply. Ms. did in fact have surgery performed at my office. Before and after photographs were obtained which indicate that the post-surgical results were undeniably satisfactory. Ms. was unwilling to accept my advice to allow the surgical sites to heal completely and sought treatment from “several other doctors.” Furthermore, her behavior became somewhat concerning in that she aggressively voiced inaccurate and accusatory comments to my staff. It was then determined that my doctor/patient relationship with Ms. was not longer viable. Ms. was sent a patient termination letter and provided with a copy of her chart/medical records and photographs.
I do not intend to refund Ms. for services that were in fact satisfactorily performed.
Dr. *** has declined any further statement.
I am rejecting this response because: This outcome is not acceptable because he is the one who made the mistake.
Sincerely
