The owner agreed to re-make my arm covers, however I found out that the material is no longer available. This is not his fault, but leaves me $80.00 out of pocket and unable to have proper covers made. He did state that he would attempt to take them apart, but according to my measurements it would be impossible to turn the front piece from horizontal to vertical. Guess we will live with it.
Thank you for your support.

Review: Work was not performed as requested and the owner refuses to refund my money.I provided material to make arm covers for two chairs. I showed the owner a picture on my phone of the chair to make sure he understood which direction to run the pattern. I also held up the material in a curve and asked if he understood the pattern was to go across the arm, not the length of the arm. I offered to email him the picture, he said that was not necessary. I later found out that although I said these are the same two chairs that they already made head rest covers for, he tried to tell me he was only making covers for one chair. When I picked them up I noticed they had pieced out one cover, he said they ran out of material. I didn't understand how that could happen as he and I measured the material, laying out how the cut should be made. When I got home everything came clear, they had cut the material with the pattern running back to front instead of side to side. If they know what they are doing they should know the arms on all furniture have a pattern that runs side to side. Additionally they ran the pattern on the front of one set, up and down and the other set side to side. I provided pictures and request a refund of the $50.00 I paid for labor plus the $45.00 the material cost me. The owner refused, said I gave him wrong instructions and offered to take the completed covers apart and rebuild them. Well that can't be done as they were cut to the wrong measurements and pieced out in the first place.Desired Settlement: Return the $50.00 I paid for the work plus $45.00 for the material.
