I've been sent 5 cables, each one has broke within a month every single time.I purchased my first two cables about 5 months ago, since then, I've had to call about 6 times to get new ones for the 2. Then those both went and I had to call again to get new ones. Just again today I had to call because this last set of cables went as well. This is now my 6 pair of cables that I've had to throw away. This product is complete garbage and shouldn't be on the market. I don't know a product number but they are the 6Ft Lightning Cable to USB For the iPhone 5. I paid about $14 for two in the colors pink and purple. Desired SettlementI would like a product that works from your company, like a certified product and my money back. I've gone through enough trouble with this and have had to have a dead phone numerous time because your cables are completely unreliable. This awful product should really be fixed and made better.
I purchased three "lightening cable for USB for iPhone 5"'s. The first time I removed one of the cables from the wall charger, the plastic cover broke off, exposing the wire. I received the message "This cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this iPhone" when attempting to use the other two cables and neither cable would charge the phone. I originally emailed ohmycable support on 12/29/13 and informed them of the above issues. I was offered a replacement or a refund and, given the fact that all three cords gave me trouble, I opted for the refund. In that original reply from support, they made no mention of their return policy and, at that point, I disposed of the cables. The broken cable was a safety hazard and the other two were useless since they did not charge the phone, so I disposed of them to avoid clutter. The company replied a second time, indicating that they want the cords back to test them and I let them know that they were thrown out. They asked me if I could retrieve them, which I could not because they were thrown into a dumpster and I asked them to make an exception, especially in light that these three cords were only part of a larger order (the other items work fine). I felt this was reasonable given that I am a new customer.Product_Or_Service: Lightning Cable To USB For iPhone 5Order_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementI would like a refund for the full amount paid on all three cords.
