specific conversations that he claims took place if indeed they did take place. During our email corresponding, Mr. [redacted]'s demeanor was demanding, confrontational and without regard for any facts that I presented. As for his claims of our conversations, I have never used the term "peek into the attic". On the contrary, my report describes the attic in detail. My report describes the roof as a 20 year rated shingle on a 21 year old roof. This fact alone would have put him on notice that the roof would need repairs or replacement in the foreseeable future. Mr. [redacted] sarcastically dismissed this fact as inconvenient to his argument. His final summation email was pay up or I will do my best to ruin your reputation. In conclusion, I will offer to return his original fee of $275.00. This is not an admission of negligence and is only a good will gesture to resolve this problem. I will not return the $125.00 radon test fee that has nothing to do with a general home inspection. If this is not acceptable to Mr. [redacted], he may wish to resolve this in small claims court. I feel confident that the facts put forth in my report will stand on there own merit.
