OHA Heating & Air

Jonathan Z arrived this morning on time as planned. He performed all inspections and found blower to be failing and informed me. I requested he repair the air blower and he did. -- he also installed an Air Scubber air purifier. I had bought a room air purifier, but the air scrubber air purifier will be better for my Villa.

Great service, super job. The OHA team responded to our service request quickly and professionally. Surveyed and evaluated the problem, order the correct part and then made the replacement and repair in a timely and well executed manor. Trevor K and his partner did great work and actually left the job site cleaner than when they arrived! The OHA design team prefabricated much of the new duct work and all I can say for the difference it made when installed is WOW! I recommend OHA to homeowner in our area for their HVAC needs.

Arrived to our home in early afternoon, to find we had no heat and our Wi-fi thermostat wasn't "responding". After thirty minutes of unsuccessful "do it myself" work I called OHA and spoke with a pleasant woman, (Robbie?), who patiently listened to my woes. Despite the fact that all technicians were out in the field since morning, she tracked down Jonathan, who immediately texted me with an approximate arrival time. On time, personable, articulate and very intuitive, he immediately ran his diagnostics, called back to the office to talk with a colleague, and we were back in business with heat. Explained everything he had done. Jonathan was a new face, as I've met several other OHA folks in the past. I couldn't be more pleased with the expertise and total customer service! Again, thanks!

Awesome technician/knowledgeable efficient, taught us about things we didn’t know about our gas fireplace. We will have him back for services (emergency and regular service on the fireplace).

Our gas fireplace had not worked properly for the eight years we have lived in our home. We had it serviced twice in that time and it still didn’t work properly. John at OHA has it working like new! Thank you John!

We purchased a townhouse in Occoquan, VA that had a ventless gas fireplace which had been installed when the house was built in 2001. We wanted to update the fireplace to be sure it could be safely used. We found OHA heating and Air and they sent Mathew V out to bid the job. We requested an intermittent pilot, which is an upgrade from a standing pilot and also a remote that could adjust the temperature of the fireplace (a thermostatic remote) also an upgrade from a standard on/off remote or remote that can adjust the height of the flames. The bid we were given clearly stated that what was bid was an intermittent pilot and a thermostatic remote. After the logs and burner were installed in March, we discovered that the pilot was not intermittent and that the remote was not thermostatic, but this was never stated until after the work was completed and therefore the bid was never updated. We were told that the intermittent pilot was not available on the 16" burner and that does appear to be the case. We were also told that the thermostatic remote was not available for the 16" burner. I do not know if this is true or not, but am guessing it might be. Regardless, we did not receive the items bid and feel there should have been notification up front and also an adjustment to the bid prior to installation. We also complained that the remote we were given was only an on/off remote and we wanted one that at least adjusted the height of the flame since we were told the thermostatic one was not an option. Mathew V did return to change out the remote, but left without fixing it telling us that he had the wrong receiver and would need to order the correct one and come back again. He never came back, so our remote is still not working correctly. We have tried working with OHA for a solution and while they have offered a small refund they refuse to addressed the remote issue. I feel like they are just hoping they can make this "too hard" so we will go away.

I’ve had to do a ton of work on my house lately with lots of different contractors. After working with Brandon K at OHA for a new HVAC, I wish I could hire them to do everything I ever need done on my house (branch out, please! ??). They’re that good. They have it all: quality product, outstanding work, innovative solutions for problems, fair prices, and the most outstanding customer service ever. When they say customers are their primary focus, they mean it. My existing unit was a mess, and they had to do extensive work in the crawl space remove everything and install my shiny new unit. It’s no wonder they have stellar reviews. They’re a small business that rocks. Use them!

Incredibly impressed with OHA! Have gotten our AC serviced/repaired by them and also purchased and had installed air scrubbers for our home. This has helped our overall breathing quality, better sleep, and helped our children's breathing/asthma issues. Wonderful investment for the health of our family! The staff is prompt, knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Highly recommend OHA and will continue to use them for all of our heating and AC needs in the future!
