Problem with delivery of track for door on hall bathroom. Wrong color sent. Took total of four (4) days to fix.
Wrong color and type of track for bathroom door sent. Took four (4) days to complete installation due to company sending wrong color track with wrong labeling on box.
Refund the cost of the door and install
We didn't know anything about this until we saw this at first. My customer care department then tried to reach out to the***s, but didn't receive an answer. We will do the same thing again today to try and see if we can discuss the situation with them.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The door was not installed for 4 days because Bath fitters sent the wrong door. Also when installing the shower a hole was put in the closet when installing the shower. I want to be refunded the cost of the door and the cost of repairing the hole put into the drywall from installing the shower. This has been going on for about 120 days now and the company has not called me. The refund for the door is requested because the work was not done as promised because Bath fitters corporate office did not send the right door and track to start with. I had to take out an SBA loan to get the repairs done to interior of home from damage from hurricane IRMA. I can be contacted at 904 239-9757 or 904 592-1978.
As soon as we are up and running, we will schedule Mr. to repair the hole he has.
Contacted the consumer he indicated the business resolved his complaint
deceptive selling tactics
When we were in the estimate phase the sales person led us to believe that we could buy our own custom door and that the Bathfitter installer would "mostly likely" install it for a small additional fee (on the side I assumed) I thought that Steve was honestly trying to help us save some money. Install day comes around and Eric the installer was very nice and efficient at his job an tool the required 2 days to complete the retrofit. When done I asked if he would install the door which he looked at and to me he could n't install it out side the deal but Steve (the original sales person) would come on a Saturday and install it himself. Saturday comes and I get a call from Steve saying he could only install the original door and for $250.00 or if I want the new door hung I would have to go through the company and it would be $850.00. He aoplogied for the "misunderstanding" when he intentionally led me to believe they would hang the door with no problems and a small fee. It was a deceptive selling tacticjust to get me to sign for what appears to be an overpriced shower Retrofit ($6 Grand worth.) THEN after blowing off his lie like it was nothing, had the audacity to try and drill me for an additional $850.00. I was a fresh home owner with a pocket of cash and the need to have things done right away so I let myself believe Steve was really trying to help us when all he was doing was saying whatever he needed to say to get us to sign. Again Eric the Installer was Great and we hold no animosity towards him what so ever. Does anyone have an installer for a heavy glass door for a reasonable price on speed dial???
I want the Store to acknowledge that this sales rep intentionally misled me to believe they would do something for me that in the end they would not do without an additional $850 charge
Document Attached***
After discussing everything with this customer about the situation, we only charged him $250 to install his customer supplied doors. I have supplied documentation to show the amount of $250 that he paid to install his supplied doors.
Thank you,
