Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 11, 2016/05/20) */
We agreed to $150.00 dollars
Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2015/08/27) */
Yes we did this work for [redacted] and yes we needed some sort of payment to get started. The original $1,000.00 dollars was a down payment the next $1,000.00 was the balance of labor for job and the balance of $900.00 was for the material tax and...
permit fees. She had called me and requested a statment which we have sent which itemizes time and material this is what we can do. The work performed was to pekin inspection standards and what the inspector wanted. We were called after the inspector was there and no permit or lisenced person was on job.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2015/09/03) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
My [redacted] card company refunded me $990.89 because it was an unauthorized charge. [redacted] Plumbing did send an invoice dated 8-30-15. I have already paid in full 2,000 the amount [redacted] told me the highest the bill would be. Putting unauthorized charges on a customers credit card and sending an invoice 2 months after work is done and paid in full is not very professional of a business owner.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2015/09/06) */
The charges to her credit card are for the $2,000.00 labor and the remaining balance was for material she asked for the recipt we sent it as she asked it should have been sent sooner we understand that but the charges stand this was rental property and it had been tagged for plumbing inspection we got the job done and now she has cancelled the last payment this job was not a bid. After our meeting with her at home we had to meet inspector to see what he wanted done.Nothing was vented in this home and walls were covered and painted this involved loop vents and hidding vent system in closet area to get out roof with flashing.
