O'Gallerie Inc

Review: O'Gallerie misrepresented a set of books at auction as containing etchings when in fact all of the etchings had been removed. They failed to respond to any of our emails to resolve the matter. As a result we did a chargeback, and the issue was settled in our favor by [redacted]. Recently O'Gallerie contracted with a collection agency to collect the amount from us and is now trying to affect our ability to buy items from other auction houses.Desired Settlement: We would like O'Gallerie to issue a call tag to pick up the books, refund us the $63.35 we paid them for shipping, and cease efforts to collect money from us.

The consumer stopped payment on his credit card, but he still has the book that he purchased. As soon as we receive the book back, we will consider the matter closed.

We asked the business several weeks ago to pick up the books, and they elected not to respond to us. As a compromise, we will forego the initial amount of $63.35 we paid to have the books shipped to us even though it was their mistake, but we will not pay to ship them back. If they want this matter closed, all they have to do is issue a call tag and pick them up, or send a check for $63.35 to cover the shipping cost and we will return them.
